Operations in the region are organized into five police districts: Fyrbodal, Halland, Skaraborg, Storgöteborg, and Älvsborg, which together are divided into 16 local police districts. Additionally, there are four regional units: the operational unit, intelligence unit, investigation unit, and border police unit, a regional office, Operations-Oriented HR and Communications, as well as national departments that are represented in the region to support police operations. Operations-Oriented HR Operations-Oriented HR is a newly established section responsible for providing accessible HR support to the region to contribute to increased efficiency and goal achievement. The section consists of five groups: Recruitment, Regional HR which provides general HR support from HR partners and HR specialists, and Continuing Education and Professional Development. All groups provide operations-oriented HR support to Police Region West police districts and units. We are now seeking an HR Specialist specializing in employment relations and agreements, based in Gothenburg. Job Responsibilities We believe in you and your abilities, and therefore we give you considerable scope in your role as HR Specialist. You will work closely with colleagues and operational managers, where your ability to create and maintain good relationships is of paramount importance. Our main task is to provide all managers with the conditions to lead and develop their operations. As an HR Specialist, you are an important part of this work. Your duties are varied and you work strategically and operatively on employment relations matters, such as: As an HR Specialist, you will work with: labor law matters such as legislation and agreement interpretation, support in negotiations, and cooperation with employee organizations specialized support to HR partners who in turn work with management groups and managers within the police region. In certain matters, you work in direct cooperation with the region's leadership and managers the entire wage process from planning, analysis, and manager support to implementation, negotiation, and follow-up environmental monitoring and implementing nationally developed strategies and processes with a focus on activities that support and strengthen managers in their role as employer representatives and leaders cooperation with employee organizations participating in national networks, projects, and development initiatives. In all work, you contribute your experience and expertise with the Police Authority's best interests in focus. Qualifications This is an opportunity for you who have: Academic education in HR or another field combined with experience that the employer considers relevant At least three years of HR experience with comparable duties that the employer considers relevant Experience with cooperation and negotiation with employee organizations Experience with wage formation and salary review processes Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing It is meritorious if you also have: Experience with comparable duties within public sector operations Advanced knowledge and/or experience in labor law Experience planning and conducting training Experience independently driving development assignments Knowledge of labor time legislation Personal Qualities To thrive in this assignment, you should be confident and well-grounded in your HR role. You drive your work forward independently and have the ability to plan, prioritize, and adapt to changing circumstances. You have good analytical ability and the ability to see your role in a larger context. It is important that you are unpretentious and that you have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations and handle them appropriately.
