Swedish Red Cross is part of the world's largest humanitarian network with around 25,000 volunteers in more than 300 local organizations across Sweden. We are now seeking a substitute for one of our HR partners who will be on parental leave. We are looking for someone with experience who, alongside professional HR expertise, is civically engaged and wants to contribute to our important mission – helping vulnerable people and strengthening humanity in society. With us, you'll be part of a dedicated HR team that works close to operations and makes a difference every day. Your Role You will be an HR partner for support functions at Swedish Red Cross. This means you will have overall responsibility for HR matters in two of our departments: Finance and Support, and the Secretary General's office. You will sit in the management team for the larger of these departments, Finance and Support, and contribute both strategically and operationally. The work includes the entire HR cycle, from labor law matters and union negotiations to recruitment, compensation, workplace environment, rehabilitation, and organizational development. Since we went through an organization-wide restructuring in spring, as an HR partner you will also be involved in some change management regarding working methods, etc. Beyond serving as HR partner for two departments, you will have special responsibility for developing, implementing, and following up on processes, tools, and working methods for recruitment across the organization. This doesn't mean you manage or conduct all recruitment, but rather that you are, for example, the contact person for our recruitment system and keep job posting templates and other materials updated. What We're Looking For You have several years of experience in broad and consultative HR work. You have a relevant university degree. You are proactive, confident in your role, and experienced at prioritizing. You are curious, courageous, and dare to challenge both yourself and others. You have a coaching and encouraging approach – and enjoy collaboration. You share the Red Cross's humanitarian values and core principles. It is a merit if you have experience with recruitment systems such as Grade Onecruiter and ReachMee. Practical Details The position is full-time and primarily located in Stockholm. Our working language is Swedish. Start in late September or early October. The substitute position runs through September 30, 2027. We want to be transparent that our salaries cannot compete with the private market – but with us you get one of Sweden's most meaningful HR roles instead.
