Human Resources Department Region Uppsala's Management Office is part of Region Uppsala, one of Uppsala County's largest employers. The HR Department is now seeking an experienced and committed HR Partner for the HR unit at Public Dental Services. Our Operations The HR Department within Region Uppsala is led by the HR Director and consists of approximately 150 employees. The department is organized into business-oriented support and functional areas including Occupational Environment and Health, Law and Agreements, Competence and Leadership, and HR Center. The HR Department works on behalf of the regional leadership and has responsibility for overall strategic and operational HR work in Region Uppsala. Public Dental Services in Uppsala County has approximately 600 employees at 25 clinics with access to all dental specialties. Public Dental Services has good patient flow, solid finances, and interesting development projects. Your Assignment The HR Partner role is a generalist position where you work to provide consultative, proactive, and business-oriented support to Public Dental Services' managers in all HR processes, such as workforce planning, systematic occupational health and safety work, rehabilitation, labor cooperation, employment law, compensation matters, and complex personnel cases. As an HR Partner, you communicate HR matters and adapt them to relevant recipients such as management, cooperation, and leadership groups. You work closely with the managers and operations you support, identifying support needs and potential shifts within the HR area. Participation in region-wide HR projects may also occur. To provide the best support possible, you work closely with the entire HR team at Public Dental Services, where collaboration and shared commitment are an integral part of our working approach. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: • A degree from higher education with a social science orientation; preferably in personnel science or other education that the employer deems equivalent or relevant for the position. • Several years of experience with qualified and broad HR work, as an HR Partner or similar position, with solid experience of all HR processes. • Experience supporting managers, both individually and in groups. • Good communication skills, both verbal and written. It is meritorious to have work experience from the public sector as well as good knowledge of employment law and other relevant agreements. Your Competencies As a person, you are proactive, unpretentious, and self-directed. You are also confident in your professional role and can therefore be a trustworthy and coaching advisor to managers in all HR matters. You are driven by varied tasks, enjoy responsibility with freedom, are skilled at prioritizing, and handle your cases and processes in a structured manner. You adapt easily to changing circumstances, see opportunities in change, and can work at a high pace when needed. You have the ability to build and maintain good and trusting relationships and you conduct your professional role with integrity. You communicate clearly and adapt your message delivery to the recipient. In the selection process, we will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
