Welcome to us The HR unit supports the administration's managers with consultative HR support and leads strategic HR work. We support managers with questions regarding labor law, organizational changes, rehabilitation, salary structure, labor union collaboration, negotiations, and work environment. We are a small unit with short decision-making processes and we maintain close collaboration with colleagues and managers. The team consists of three HR consultants, two HR administrators, and one team leader. The unit is led by the department head for HR, administration, and committee. As one of our colleagues is going on parental leave, we are now seeking an independent and service-oriented HR consultant for a temporary position that extends until September 2027. Please read about our benefits within Stockholm City here. Your role You support the administration's managers in their operational, personnel, and employer responsibilities. The HR consultant role with us is varied and broad where you work close to operations with both operational and strategic HR matters. You provide advice and support to managers on various HR issues such as individual matters, employment terms, law and agreement interpretation, salary reviews, rehabilitation, systematic work environment efforts, and compensation. You will be HR support for one of our operational areas. Depending on your previous experience, you may also take on special responsibility within one or more of our specialist areas, such as work environment, labor law, competency provision, or salary structure. In the position, you will also participate in labor union negotiations and in labor union collaboration groups. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has: - Relevant university or college education, for example in personnel management or behavioral science, or education that we consider equivalent - Current experience in an HR role where you have provided consultative support to managers, including in labor law, individual matters, work environment, and rehabilitation - Experience working with labor union parties - Good knowledge and experience in labor law - Good IT skills and experience working in different systems - Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing It is advantageous if you have: - Good knowledge of the collective agreement "Allmänna bestämmelser" - Worked in a similar role within municipal operations We will place great emphasis on personal suitability, engagement, and motivation for the position.
