We are now seeking an HR consultant with a special focus on labor law for the Personnel Department at Arvika Municipality, as one of our colleagues has chosen to move on to new challenges. The Personnel Department's mission is to develop and manage the municipality's personnel matters and provide qualified support to the municipality's managers in their leadership and business development. With us, you will be part of an engaged and competent HR team currently consisting of seven HR consultants. Within the Personnel Department, there are also ten employees in payroll and our Recruitment and Competence Center, which provides corporation-wide support in recruitment, staffing, and training. Together, we work to develop Arvika Municipality as an attractive and sustainable employer. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in labor law and who thrives in an advisory and strategic role where you get to work closely with the managers of the business operations. You have the ability to analyze complex labor law issues, translate laws and agreements into practical solutions, and create security in the organization through professional support and guidance. Qualifications To succeed in the role, we see that you have: An academic degree in personnel and working life or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Several years of experience in qualified HR work with emphasis on labor law. Very good knowledge of labor law and experience in independently handling labor law processes. Experience in union negotiations and collaboration matters. Experience in consultative support to managers in complex personnel matters. Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish. Good knowledge of the Office package. Responsibilities As an HR consultant focused on labor law, you are the municipality's qualified support in labor law matters and processes. You work closely with the managers of the business operations and provide both strategic and operational support to ensure legally compliant and professional handling of personnel matters. Your main tasks are to: Drive and coordinate labor law matters from consultation to implementation. Represent the employer in union negotiations according to the MBL and other labor law regulations. Provide qualified support to managers in the interpretation and application of laws, agreements, and internal guidelines. Work with collaboration, collective agreements, and wage formation matters. Contribute labor law expertise in organizational changes and development projects. Train and inform managers in labor law, collaboration, and employer matters. The role also encompasses work in other HR areas such as work environment, rehabilitation, competence supply, and manager support, but labor law forms the central part of the assignment.
