HR Consultant with Focus on Recruitment

About the Position Are you an experienced HR consultant passionate about recruitment who wants to work closely with the business in a consultative role? We are now seeking an HR consultant for Mälarenergi in Västerås for an exciting assignment with immediate start. You will become part of an HR team of 14 people where you, together with a part-time colleague, have primary responsibility for the recruitment area. The role suits you if you enjoy independently driving processes forward while also serving as professional support to managers and the business. Initially, your focus will be on driving recruitment processes for specialist and key positions within operations and maintenance, engineering roles, IT, and other qualified specialist services. Beyond recruitment, we are looking for someone with broad HR experience who can support the organization's managers with various HR-related matters as recruitment needs fluctuate. The assignment is full-time with immediate start and initially runs until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension. Main Responsibilities Drive and coordinate recruitment processes from needs analysis to hiring. Support and coach managers through all stages of the recruitment process. Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the process. Provide support on operational HR matters to the organization's managers. Participate in and support various HR activities, development initiatives, and projects as needed. Collaborate with other HR functions to ensure efficient and high-quality processes. About You We are looking for you who are a confident and experienced HR professional with a strong interest in recruitment and operational HR work. You thrive in a role where you take significant responsibility and drive multiple processes in parallel. As a person, you are structured, unpretentious, and have an easy time understanding new contexts. You are not hesitant to take over in ongoing processes and have the ability to quickly build trust with both managers and candidates. You are communicative, solution-oriented, and experienced in acting as an advisor on various HR-related matters. Furthermore, you enjoy working close to the business and contributing where the need is greatest. Qualifications Relevant education in HR or equivalent work experience. Experience with independent recruitment work. Experience with HR work and manager support. Strong ability to build relationships and create trust in the organization. Excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
