About Samhall
Samhall exists to create a more inclusive labor market where everyone is seen as an asset. Our mission is to create meaningful jobs for people with disabilities. Each year, approximately 2,000 people are referred to us from the Swedish Public Employment Service, and what we do is offer them a stable platform to stand on and the opportunity to practice their skills and develop their competence. Our most important goal is for 1,500 people each year to leave us for work outside of Samhall.
Regardless of where you work in our organization, our mission and goals are always present. The conviction that all people have competence is a compass and a driving force for all of us. We believe that you who are reading this feel equally strongly about this as we do.
We are 24,000 employees, of which approximately 1,500 are managers and specialists, with operations throughout the country. Together we work for a more inclusive labor market that benefits individuals, organizations, and society at large.
Welcome to Samhall!
About the Position
Your contribution to Samhall is that you create conditions for our employees to trust their competence and take the step into the regular labor market.
As an HR Generalist in Norrköping, you will work together with the HR Business Partner and five other HR Generalists (Nyköping-Katrineholm, Linköping, Eskilstuna, and Visby) in the district's HR team. You report to the HR Business Partner, who also participates in the district's management group.
Your Role
As an HR Generalist with us, you will have a central role in contributing to and developing HR work in the district. You work closely with managers in operations and the HR team to ensure a unified culture, effective working methods, and compliance with policies and guidelines. The work also includes negotiations with trade union parties in various personnel matters and managing salary processes within the LO collective agreement.
You are an operational HR support where you coach and guide managers in matters relating to HR processes, leadership, work environment, and individual adjustments related to employees within Samhall's labor market policy mission. An important part of the assignment is to support managers in work with sick leave, rehabilitation, and preventive measures to create sustainable working conditions.
You also contribute to the district making proactive training planning that develops employees' professional skills and ensures the right competence in current and future customer assignments. In the role, you ensure good and professional cooperation with external partners such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, trade union organizations, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and occupational health services. Together with colleagues in HR and other parts of the organization, you contribute to developing and maintaining uniform, efficient, and high-quality HR work throughout the operation.
Who Are You and What Drives You?
We welcome you who have higher education/university education in HR, or alternatively other education and/or experience that we consider relevant. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required. You have worked broadly with HR and have solid knowledge of labor law and experience with trade union negotiations. It is meritorious if you have experience working with the Swedish Public Employment Service and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.
To thrive with us, it is important that you are unpretentious, have a positive mindset, and have the ability to quickly shift focus. You have a talent for meeting people and are service-oriented, while at the same time having that certain finesse to challenge the managers you support in a coaching manner. We believe you are a good relationship builder who becomes a natural conversation and collaboration partner for our managers and others in the organization. You enjoy driving your work independently and feel confident in doing so, but value cooperation and a good work environment just as much as we do.
In the role, you will operate throughout the district but primarily in Norrköping. Therefore, the position will involve some travel, which means a driver's license (category B) is required for the position.
As our new colleague, it is important that you believe in people's abilities and share our values: Belief in the equal value of all people – Confidence in the abilities of all individuals – The value of work for the development of the individual and society.
