Your New Role We are looking for a strategic and committed HR Director who wants to contribute to the development of the Education Department. As HR Director, you will lead the HR unit and be responsible for driving and developing HR work within the department together with your team members. You will be part of the department's management team and report to the Department Director. As HR Director at the Education Department, you will lead our HR work with your strategic, clear, and communicative abilities and with a trust-based approach. Your role as HR Director will be broad, ranging from management and governance, overarching strategic matters, to also handling and advising on certain operational matters yourself. As HR Director, you are responsive to the core business's needs and challenges, and you have the ability to integrate an HR perspective into decisions about change and development work. An important part of the assignment is to ensure that we have good cooperation with other parts of the municipality and work to maintain good dialogue and relationships with our trade union organizations. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone with academic education, likely in HR, and several years of experience from similar roles that require leadership and broad HR competence. Your leadership is characterized by commitment, courage, and trust. Experience of having worked in a politically governed organization and a strong interest in issues within the department's areas of responsibility are merits. You have substantial experience working closely with trade union organizations and see good cooperation as a matter of course. You also have experience with negotiation matters and cooperation agreements. We are looking for an HR Director with drive, commitment, and strong analytical ability. As a person, you are goal-oriented and have the ability to deliver results. You are clear and confident in yourself, and you have a good understanding of support processes' mission. We also value that you have good collaboration skills, are unpretentious, and bring a lot of joy and energy to the organization.
