We now need to strengthen our team with a receptionist with extended operational responsibility. As a receptionist with us, you are the first our guests meet – and often the one they remember best. The work is independent and varied, and we are looking for someone who has a feel for service and the confidence to make decisions on their own. About Your Role You work mostly independently, which means you need to be comfortable taking responsibility, making decisions, and solving unexpected situations on your own. We need someone who wants and can take a comprehensive grip on daily operations, so that nothing falls through the cracks. A typical day involves everything from greeting breakfast guests, handling check-outs, preparing for check-ins, managing bookings and payments, answering questions, and other tasks that may occur in daily operations. On weekdays during low season, you will also handle breakfast service on certain days, which involves simple breakfast preparation, serving, and cleanup. Your working hours are primarily scheduled for morning shifts, but since we also have reception and bar open in the afternoon and evening, shifts may be scheduled there as needed, by agreement. In addition to this, you will: Inventory and manage orders for daily operations Oversee and address maintenance in rooms and facilities The position includes some staff supervision, an area we can tailor to your profile. You work scheduled 4-5 shifts per week including every other weekend. The position is at 80% but may involve overtime during high season. Who We Are Looking For The work is varied – and sometimes unpredictable. Therefore, you need to be both service-oriented and action-oriented: confident in meeting people, quick-thinking, and with a natural sense for creating solutions. You: Are social, warm, and professional in meeting guests Have good communication skills in Swedish and English (additional languages are a plus) Are responsible and organized, but also flexible when things happen Enjoy making your own decisions Work well with colleagues Have previous experience as a hotel receptionist It is a great advantage if you are practically inclined Please note that we only handle applications that meet the required profile.
