The Welfare Administration's task is to help people who, due to age, disability, financial or family problems, need various forms of support and assistance. The Welfare Administration consists of three departments: health care and social services, support and IFO (individual and family care). The health care and social services department consists of units within elderly care facilities, home care and municipal primary care. The support department includes LSS. The IFO department consists of social services, employment unit, social psychiatry and assistance unit. Are you curious about working in health care and social services? The health care and social services department in Munkedals kommun is looking for you who are in grade 9 and want to try working as a nursing assistant or support assistant during fall break week 44. Description of the work You will follow an experienced employee and see how the work functions in reality. You will meet people, learn new things and gain an insight into what it is like to work in health care and social services. Examples of work tasks can be helping with meals, participating in social activities, service tasks such as cleaning or laundry. Over three days you work six hours per day, which amounts to a total of 18 hours during the week.
