The Assistive Devices operation is a business area (VO) within the Administration of Psychiatry, Habilitation and Assistive Devices, responsible for all assistive device areas financed by Region Skåne. This includes assistive devices for people with mobility, vision, hearing, communication and cognition limitations, medical treatment aids, orthopedic technical aids, and medicine-related products.
The Logistics Unit is part of the order/logistics area with the task of warehousing, reconditioning, and managing the distribution of assistive devices handled directly by the assistive devices operation. We also have overall delivery responsibility for distribution and warehousing that is outsourced to third parties.
Here we work to create safe, efficient, and quality-assured processes that make a real difference for our customers. The area also includes customer service, operational support, assortment and contracts, which means we work closely together and benefit from each other's competence in our daily work.
Together we work to ensure that every assistive device reaches the right recipient, at the right time, and with the right quality.
At the Logistics Unit, we are approximately 25 committed employees consisting of a unit manager, technicians, and case handlers. Together we form a competent and positive team that values collaboration, quality, and good relationships. DUTIES
In your role as an assistive technology technician, you will work with reconditioning, service, repair, assembly, and functional testing of assistive devices. Your work tasks vary depending on which technology area or areas you work in and may include, for example, hearing, vision, nutrition, cognition, respiration, mobility, returns, or warehouse.
You are responsible for ensuring that assistive devices maintain high quality and are ready to be used by our customers. For certain tasks, warehouse work is also included, such as goods receipt, assembly of new products, quality assurance, picking, packing, and distribution of assistive devices. Forklift operation may occur in warehouse and returns operations.
Together with colleagues, you contribute to planning and prioritizing daily work and ensuring good task distribution. Documentation is an important part of the work and is done according to current procedures in the business system; we use the business system Visma Sesam. You also actively contribute to developing our working methods, routines, and processes by working according to 5S and Lean principles.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have completed upper secondary education, preferably with a technical focus, or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, good computer skills, and an easy ability to learn new IT systems.
It is meritorious if you have experience working with technical equipment, warehouse work, or business and warehouse systems. For positions in warehouse and returns, forklift certificates A2 and B1 are meritorious.

Assistive Devices has the task of managing assistive devices prescribed to patients in Skåne. The administration also includes vision, hearing, and deaf services and youth clinics in Skåne.
