JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an assistive device assistant, you are responsible for ordering assistive devices to the warehouse, checking the quality of newly purchased and refurbished devices, transporting assistive devices to and from patients, assembling or replacing devices, and assessing when a device should be discarded or recalled. Your duties also include responsibility for conducting our daily morning meetings, informing about incoming patient matters, and contacting patients by phone for supplementary information. You will sometimes work on assignments or delegations from licensed personnel, which includes individual training or testing of assistive devices. You may also be involved in coordination and responsibility in digital internal and external collaboration forums. At our rehabilitation unit, you will be part of driving and developing the work together with other team members who are physiotherapists, occupational therapists, assistive device assistants, and assistive device repair specialists. QUALIFICATIONS You are trained as a nursing assistant or have training equivalent to an occupational therapy assistant or rehabilitation assistant. You have the ability to handle physically demanding work and good stress management skills. You communicate well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, have good computer skills, and feel comfortable participating and expressing yourself in group settings. We would like you to have experience with the IT systems we use in the Rehabilitation Unit, but most importantly, you have the will and ambition to learn them. The systems are Treserva, Websesam, Sesam 2, Artvise, and Proceedo. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. For us, it is important that you have good cooperation skills and commitment to collaborate with different professions within the Healthcare Unit, Elderly Care, Care for People with Disabilities, and the Region. It is also important that you are positive about participating in quality improvement of our operations. You are a humble person with a positive outlook, you are pedagogically inclined, and enjoy sharing your knowledge. A B driver's license is required to perform work in the municipality.
