We are seeking a truck driver with a loader crane (HIAB driver) for our client to work on a large project in Boden, Sweden. EMPLOYMENT TERMS Work Location: Boden, Sweden Start: As soon as possible Project Duration: Minimum 6 months Work Schedule: Full-time Housing: Provided by the client Tax-free Allowances: Swedish daily allowance of 300 SEK/day, which reduces to 235 SEK/day after three months. JOB DESCRIPTION – HIAB DRIVER You will perform a wide range of lifting operations on a large industrial construction site. The largest cranes you will work with have a lifting capacity of 165 ton-meters (T/m) and consist mainly of Fassi and Palfinger cranes. Your work tasks will include: - Standard transport and material handling lifts - More advanced and precision-requiring lifting and assembly work - Planning lifts together with other trades - Close collaboration with assemblers, crane operators, and site management - Understanding and adapting to changing site conditions while working safely and efficiently - Safe loading and unloading - Handling of lifting gear, rigging, and lifting equipment This is more than just operating a crane – you need to understand the entire lifting process and be able to work safely and professionally alongside others on the site. REQUIREMENTS - Class C driver's license (CE license is a merit) - Valid crane certification - Valid digital tachograph card WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO - Has experience operating a truck with a loader crane (HIAB) - Has good knowledge of workplace health and safety - Is responsible, self-driven, and takes initiative - Possesses the certificates and licenses required for the position - Has prior experience with mobile cranes or other vehicle-mounted cranes (a merit) MORE INFORMATION The project in Boden has recently received new financing and the work site is now being established. Since the project is not yet in full operation, the initial work schedule will be: - Monday-Friday - 8 hours per day Once the project is in full operation, the work schedule will transition to a more traditional rotating schedule for industrial projects: Monday-Saturday - 10 hours per day - Two weeks of work followed by one week off This is an excellent opportunity if you want to participate in a long-term project in a demanding and exciting industrial environment.
