The Social Services Department now offers a unique opportunity to work weekend shifts within several of our operations. Weekend shift work is a special form of employment aimed at strengthening staffing during weekends while creating a sustainable resource allocation in our operations. You can apply for the position whether you are already employed within the municipality or if you currently work for another employer. If you are already employed by the municipality, there is an opportunity to take leave from your regular position to try weekend shift work. The number of positions is limited and will be filled based on each operation's needs. The positions are available within the Social Services Department's operations, primarily in elderly care, home care, and disability services (LSS). With us, you are an important part of the operation and contribute every day to security, independence, and quality of life for the people we serve. Weekend shift work is regulated through a local agreement and includes: • Full-time equivalent of 27 hours per week • Working hours scheduled during day and evening from Friday 06:00 to Monday 23:00 • Saturday and Sunday are always included in the schedule • If major holidays fall on these days, work during those days is also included • Otherwise, laws and agreements applicable to the current collective bargaining agreement apply QUALIFICATIONS The position requires: • Trained nursing assistant with a diploma from Care and Health College or equivalent education. • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. • Ability to document and communicate professionally. It is meritorious if you: • Have a driver's license (required for certain operations, such as home care) • Have experience working according to IBIC (Individual's Needs at the Center) We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in people and want to contribute to creating a safe, meaningful, and high-quality daily life for those we meet.
