You who want to be a gear in the machinery behind two municipalities that don't settle for less, but aim to be environmental role models in Sweden. For this position, you'll be placed at Läggesta ÅVC with a fixed schedule Tuesday-Saturday and evening shifts Tuesday-Thursday. It may become relevant that both times and placement within Strängnäs could change in the future. If that sounds like an arrangement you'd be comfortable with, then this could be the job for you! Your responsibilities You are the face of our operation and the person our visitors meet and trust. When someone hesitates, you step forward and make it easy by guiding and creating a sense of security. You combine top-class service with a sharp eye for sorting. One moment you're helping a visitor do the right thing, the next you're working with the team to keep operations flowing smoothly, making sure everything ends up in the right place. You operate wheel loaders and move containers. You provide support, service, and advice to visitors. You handle hazardous waste such as chemicals and batteries. You don't just do the job—you raise the bar for both colleagues and visitors. We're at the forefront of environmental work and it shows in our daily operations. Education and previous experience We're looking for someone who wants to step into a role where things really happen during a workday. You enjoy being active, meeting people, and getting to see that what's dropped off actually gets a new life. This is a role where you combine social benefit, service, and practical work. You are thorough, safety-conscious, and have a knack for service. You have: Completed upper secondary education and a B driving license. Good physical fitness and enjoy work where your body gets to stay active. Experience with hazardous waste or ADR certification and operator licenses for wheel loaders and forklifts are merits but not requirements.
