Read more on our website https://www.hydraspecma.com About the Role We are seeking a Head of Operations for IAM & OEM. This is a new role and will be central in coordinating Operations between the companies and creating a common strategy for the division. The role has a dual mandate: leading Operations strategically at the division level (30%) and having full operational responsibility as Head of Operations in the division's Swedish company, HydraSpecma Component (70%). The role includes the following responsibilities: Division Level – Strategic and Operational Development Develop and own the division's long-term Operations strategy (3–5 years) and ensure implementation, monitoring, and alignment. Develop the Nordic network of operations managers for strategy, planning, knowledge sharing, best practices, and coordination. Develop optimal inventory strategy with gradual centralization and consolidation, and optimize transport flows in collaboration with Procurement. Develop the division's technical capability structure based on customer needs, service levels, efficiency, and business development, and link to investments and sales. Drive harmonization, Lean, order-to-delivery, and continuous improvements, and spread best practices across sites. Contribute to ERP harmonization and ensure that digital solutions support efficient inventory, transport, and operational processes. Take responsibility for the division's environmental and workplace health goals and drive continuous improvements in environment and sustainability. Support prioritization and business cases for strategic investments. Company Level – Full Operational Responsibility HydraSpecma Component Overall responsibility for daily and strategic operations of the company's five Operations sites. Workplace health and personnel responsibility, including recruitment, payroll management, and development plans. Direct personnel responsibility for site and operations managers and quality manager. Profit and budget responsibility for Operations. Develop and optimize processes, organization, and structures within distribution, picking & packing, hose and pipe manufacturing, and assembly. Define and monitor KPIs for productivity, delivery reliability, cost efficiency, and quality. Coordinate with sales and procurement functions. Ensure compliance with environmental and workplace health legislation and internal guidelines. Take responsibility for continuous development of the quality management system according to current standards. The position is primarily based in Bårhult just outside Gothenburg, with continuous presence in operations. You report to the CEO of HydraSpecma Component AB, who is also Executive Vice President of the IAM & OEM Division. What We're Looking For We are looking for you with an academic degree as a Civilingenjör (M.Sc.) in mechanical engineering, production engineering, logistics, or equivalent, preferably with a focus on Supply Chain/Operations Management. You have at least 12–15 years of experience in Operations within industrial operations, preferably with distribution and warehousing. You have documented experience driving strategic change initiatives, such as warehouse consolidation, network optimization, or Lean implementation, from strategy to execution. Experience with ERP harmonization, matrix organizations, or roles with influence without direct line responsibility is a merit. You have at least 5 years of management experience, including managing managers. Experience from Nordic or international operations is a merit. Structured and prioritization-strong – you manage multiple areas of responsibility with focus. Digitally oriented – you understand the interplay between ERP, WMS, and data-driven flows.
