Your responsibilities
In your role as Head of Global IT, you will lead and develop CIDAN Machinery's global IT function and play a central role in the company's continued growth and digital transformation. You are responsible for creating a secure, scalable, and standardized IT environment that enables efficient work methods and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
You drive overarching IT strategy, IT governance, and cybersecurity, and ensure that IT work is aligned with business needs and goals. The role includes overall responsibility for business systems, where you lead the development of the group's ERP platform, integrations, and system architecture, and ensure that processes are harmonized and standardized globally.
Furthermore, you work to establish and develop master data governance, which is a prioritized development area, ensure high data quality, and drive integration strategies between different systems such as ERP, CRM, and BI. You are also responsible for further developing the organization's analytics and reporting capabilities, enabling self-service analytics and strengthening the organization's data-driven approach.
Digital transformation is a central part of the role where you lead and sponsor initiatives in automation, AI, and modern system development to strengthen the business's competitiveness and future growth.
The role involves personnel responsibility for a global IT organization with employees in Sweden, Austria, and the USA, as well as responsibility for external suppliers and partners. You work closely with functions such as production, supply chain, engineering, finance, and the sales organization.
The position reports to the COO/Sweden MD and is full-time with a start date by agreement.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with solid background in IT leadership in an international environment, preferably from manufacturing industry or other operations with complex flows and multiple units. You have several years of experience working strategically with IT while being comfortable being operational when needed.
You have strong expertise in business systems (ERP), digital transformation, and development of business-focused IT support. You also have good understanding of system architecture, integrations, data governance, and cybersecurity. Experience with BI tools, cloud solutions, and AI-related initiatives is highly desirable.
You likely possess post-secondary education in IT, technology, or equivalent, and communicate fluently in both English and Swedish.
As a person, you are confident, trustworthy, and communicative with a strong ability to create engagement in the organization. You have a strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic approach and thrive in a dynamic environment where not everything is predefined.
You are proactive and driven, with the ability to turn ideas into reality and create results in a global organization. Furthermore, you are a clear leader who builds relationships, creates consensus, and brings the organization along in change processes.
