Focus of Your Role
As Head of Accounting, you're responsible for key aspects of Lea Bank's accounting and financial reporting. Together with the CFO, you work to ensure structure, reliability, and high quality in the bank's financial information.
Your responsibilities include accounting and financial statements, consolidation, regulatory reporting to Finansinspektionen, monthly reporting to the board, and public financial reporting.
A central part of the role is also your contact with the bank's auditors, where you're expected to manage this dialogue independently.
Since the finance function is small, the responsibility is broad. You need to be able to shift between big picture and details while becoming an important part in developing and quality-assuring the bank's financial processes.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with solid experience in qualified accounting and financial reporting. You've worked in an environment with high quality and control standards and are accustomed to independently handling complex accounting matters.
Experience from banking, finance, collection, or other regulated operations is required. You need a good understanding of regulatory reporting and feel confident reporting to Finansinspektionen.
You also have experience with consolidation and public reporting and are accustomed to independently engaging with auditors.
If you also have experience in data analysis and knowledge of SQL, that's valuable, as Lea Bank wants to continue developing how data is used within the finance function.
