We are now looking for an engaged and cheerful assistant to a 20-year-old boy who lives outside Linköping. Our wonderful customer is a boy who has a severe developmental disability and loves mischief, singing, and music. He lives with his wonderful family in a villa. To get to work, it is a requirement that you have your own car and driver's license. He needs help with most things related to his basic needs, but most importantly he needs an assistant who engages him and provides him with security and routines in his daily life. As an assistant you need to be able to plan and follow his schedule, prepare the customer for what will happen during the day. He is working a lot with his communication right now, so if you have experience with alternative communication, that's a plus. We want you to be an open, confident person with positive energy who can make your own decisions. Have a sense of humor and mischief, and be ready to pitch in when needed. We would like to see that you have worked as an assistant before. You cannot have pet allergies as there are animals in the home. You will get to work with a fantastic family that has big hearts and laughs a lot. A dream job, simply put. Working hours are mainly weekdays after the customer comes home from school, 15:00-approximately 21:00, but weekends may occur.
