What you will be working with As a Hardware Design Engineer at Aros, you develop electronics solutions used in demanding industrial and automotive applications. Here you work close to both the technology and the product, together with colleagues in software, mechanics, testing, and production. You have overall responsibility for hardware design – from early concepts and design to verification and industrialization. The role involves making technical tradeoffs between performance, quality, cost, and manufacturability, while contributing your expertise and ideas throughout the entire development process. Since development and production are located close to each other, you get the opportunity to follow your solutions all the way to the finished product. You work on multiple projects in parallel and collaborate with both internal teams and our customers' development organizations, where you help shape technical solutions and working methods. Main responsibilities Develop hardware solutions from concept to verification and industrialization Circuit and schematic design PCB design Testing, verification, and troubleshooting Collaboration with software, mechanics, testing, and production Are you the right person for us? We're looking for you who have a genuine interest in electronics and are motivated by solving real-world problems. You enjoy taking responsibility, collaborating with others, and working close to both the technology and the end product. Not all answers are given from the start. Therefore, we're looking for you who like to explore different solutions, take your own initiative, and contribute your perspective along the way. Since the role involves collaboration with both colleagues and customers, you need to be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. We'd like to see that you have: A degree as a civil or technical engineer in electronics, mechatronics, or equivalent work experience Good knowledge of OrCAD Capture or similar schematic tools Experience in circuit board design Good component knowledge Knowledge and experience in power electronics, hardware-near programming, requirements management, EMC, DFM/DFT, and electric drive systems are merits.
