Personal Assistant Needed for Tomas in Katrineholm We are now seeking a reliable, warm, and committed personal assistant for Tomas, who lives centrally in Katrineholm. Tomas is 61 years old and lives with hemiplegia and aphasia following illness. He needs help and support with all daily activities, both at home and during activities outside the home. The care is 24/7 with overnight sleep and the work also includes weekends. Tomas enjoys music, sports, and doing things together with his family. This could mean joining activities, going on small outings, or simply making everyday life more pleasant and easier together. We are therefore looking for someone who is social, attentive, and enjoys being a support in someone else's daily life. Ideally, someone who shares Tomas's interests and occasionally wants to go to concerts (lots of hard rock), hockey, football, etc. The work includes support with daily routines, personal care, help with meals, and creating safety and structure throughout the day. You work in Tomas's home where his wife lives and where children and grandchildren are a very important part of Tomas's life. You must be able to sense the situation and show consideration for the family as well. The most important thing is that the personal chemistry feels right. You need to be both a helping hand and pleasant company, almost like a friend in everyday life. We are looking for someone who: * Is calm, thoughtful, and responsible * Enjoys working close to people * Has patience and can create a sense of security * Likes music, sports, and social activities * Preferably has a driver's license, as Tomas has his own adapted car * Does not smoke There are cats in the home, so you should not be allergic. Experience with personal assistance is a merit, but personal suitability is most important.
