Would you like to join me at school this fall? Then maybe you're just the person I'm looking for! I'm a cheerful and fun 12-year-old boy with a tracheostomy who will be starting middle school in Kristianstad after summer break. To make sure I have a safe, fun, and smoothly functioning school day, I'm now looking for a personal assistant who wants to be with me during school hours. As my assistant, you'll help me with things I can't manage on my own. This includes: - Monitoring my tracheostomy. - Helping me with personal care. - Supporting me during meals. - Being by my side throughout the entire school day so I can focus on being a student, having fun, and developing. What a typical work day looks like You'll start your workday at my home, just outside Linderöd. To get to my place, you'll need a driver's license and access to your own car, as there's no convenient public transportation here. We'll then travel together to and from school by school taxi. After school ends, you'll come home with me before your shift concludes. If I become ill and need to stay home from school, you'll work with me at home during your regular work hours instead. You'll help with my personal care, make sure I have a good day, and plan activities that suit how I'm feeling. My final schedule isn't set yet, but you can expect work hours of approximately Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Who are you? The most important thing is that you don't need to know everything from the start – we'll teach you! You'll receive a thorough introduction, mentoring, and training before you start working independently. We believe you are a person who: - Has great patience. - Is reliable, responsible, and attentive. - Enjoys working with children. - Gets along well with both family and school staff. - Likes animals and thrives in a home with plenty of activity. I live with my wonderful family and several pets, so there's almost always something going on at our place. If you enjoy action, laughter, and no two days being the same, you'll surely feel at home with us! About the position Approximately 80%. Monday–Friday. Work hours approximately 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.
