About the role and your responsibilities
The Circular Economy Group is an activity providing work preparation through work training for people who are far from the labor market. Participants carry out various maintenance tasks in parks and green spaces, cleaning, and beautification.
Your responsibilities include:
- Operational supervision in the field of participants on assigned tasks
- Planning and adaptation of work based on participants' different conditions
- Participation in matching and follow-up of the activity's participants
- Collaboration and contact with clients, contractors, and the public
- Promote a good work environment and actively contribute to the activity's goals and development
We are looking for you
We are looking for someone with experience working with people by supporting them in approaching the labor market. You are responsive to people with different needs and backgrounds and understand the special adaptations that a work training activity entails. You need general knowledge about functional variations and the ability to act flexibly when meeting different people.
In addition to this, you have training and work experience in green space maintenance. Experience driving tractors, ride-on mowers, and qualifications in chainsaws, brush cutters, and roadside work are merits. Good Swedish language proficiency and a B driving license for manual transmission vehicles are required for employment.
As a person, you are pedagogical, responsible, and responsive. You have good communication skills and show respect, patience, and empathy when meeting participants. You have the ability to motivate and guide people and enjoy sharing your knowledge. You enjoy working outdoors and see the value in combining practical work with social support.

The Park City Unit is responsible for the management of the city's parks and green spaces. Our managers are responsible for overall planning and prioritization, and the tasks are carried out by our internal maintenance teams, the Circular Economy Group, and external contractors. We work with the citizens in focus to deliver the best service for the residents of Lund.
The Community Development Administration is responsible for a broad range of activities covering the entire community development process.
