Are you looking for active work where you meet people and make a difference every day? We're seeking someone who wants to contribute with care, competence, and commitment when it matters most. What we offer you! Working as a support specialist, resource person, in day activities means you start from the individual's needs and wishes and provide support in daily work based on a pedagogical and professional approach. Together with your colleagues, you work toward the goal of making each day meaningful and enriching for every individual participant. You support and guide with: - structure and clarity in daily work - individually adapted support in work tasks and activities - communication and social interaction - stimulation and motivation to develop their own abilities - creating participation and independence - being a contact person and planning together with the individual how services should be provided An important part of the work is documentation to ensure good quality and safety for participants. Work hours are scheduled daytime, Monday-Friday. Hässleholm Municipality wants to utilize all your competence and offers you full-time employment. If needed, we collaborate with activities in our vicinity, which means work at more than one workplace can occur. Hässleholm Municipality wants to create the best conditions for a sustainable working life so you thrive, feel good, and experience job satisfaction. An important part is offering good benefits to our employees, such as wellness allowances and the opportunity to exchange extra vacation days for time off. Who are you? You are trained as a nursing assistant, have completed child and leisure studies (preferably with a focus on pedagogical and social work) or have other education that the employer deems equivalent. To be able to accompany our participants on outings, a category B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles is required. Documentation to ensure good quality is part of your work tasks, so you need good knowledge of Swedish—reading, speaking, and writing—as well as good computer skills. We would appreciate it if you have experience from care work and knowledge of intellectual and neuropsychiatric disabilities, but it's not a requirement. Also valued: training in autism spectrum and psychiatry and/or experience with alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), TEACCH pedagogy, low-arousal approaches, and motivational interviewing (MI). As a person, you are: - respectful of the individual, with good conduct and understanding for other people's needs and feelings - calm and secure when working with people in need of our services - someone who takes responsibility for your work tasks, is flexible and takes initiative - good at building positive relationships and collaborating with others You share the values and approaches described in our employee and leadership policy.
