About the job As an enforcement officer, you work primarily with deciding on appropriate measures to regulate debts. To prevent people from falling into serious debt, contact with customers, employers, and other authorities becomes an important part of your work. Your role is to be the neutral party that helps both those who haven't received payment and those who need to pay. You investigate assets, make decisions about appropriate enforcement measures of varying scope and complexity. This means you analyze and assess different types of documentation. You request additional information via phone, email, and letter in contact with various parties. Based on laws and regulations, you assess the documentation and make decisions. The cases you handle require legal certainty, speed, and efficiency while maintaining quality. You will undergo an internal six-month training program that alternates between practical work and theory, and you will also have a mentor who supports you initially. The training includes legal studies, customer interaction, and communication techniques. You will be part of a section that jointly takes responsibility for results, planning, and work distribution. Everyone who works at Kronofogden contributes to efforts against crime. Your work tasks include identifying and preventing attempted crimes and notifying other authorities of suspected crimes. As an enforcement officer, you might, for example, alert other authorities if a person receives benefits on incorrect grounds. Good to know The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as an enforcement officer. Kronofogden offers the opportunity to work remotely by agreement with the employer. Working in the state means you follow the state value base. There are also special requirements for judgment, security thinking, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions during the interview about any previous criminal activity and deficiencies in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also asked to references. We also obtain information about debts registered at Kronofogden, bankruptcy, and business bans. Obtained information is weighed in the overall assessment of your suitability for the position. Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security clearance with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before the employment decision.
