This includes everything from EU and international work to national regulations and decisions, along with guidance, information, and preparedness work. The unit has 20 employees divided into two teams. We work both directly with industry stakeholders, industry organizations, and in collaboration with the Government Offices and other member states. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS Your work tasks include · Developing new and managing preparedness plans against quarantine pests · Handling cases concerning control measures against quarantine pests, for example in potato cultivation · Guidance and management of regulations regarding plant pests The work involves a mix of situations requiring quick responses and planned work with processes based on environmental monitoring and careful consideration. You will work together with colleagues in a team and solve tasks both independently and in collaboration. The position involves travel within Sweden and the EU a few times per year. QUALIFICATIONS We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is stable, structured, and goal-oriented, but also relationship-building. You have good communication skills and inspire confidence in dialogue with customers and colleagues. We are looking for someone with a degree from higher education in cultivation, for example as an agronomist, agricultural engineer, or equivalent. You also have good knowledge, both spoken and written, of Swedish and English.
