Discover a diverse assignment! About the job You handle requests for disclosure of public records and information from private individuals, businesses, and public entities. With the support of applicable laws and regulations, you will independently and promptly assess whether requests can be granted and, where applicable, conduct confidentiality reviews. Within this role, you will encounter cases that vary in scope and complexity. Based on the principle of public access, your work is highly prioritized. We work in teams, which means you work closely with your colleagues and support each other to accomplish the team's mission. You plan your own workday and manage your cases both independently and in collaboration with others. The work is qualified, and you will gain new knowledge in both breadth and depth. If interested, you can also participate in various improvement and development projects alongside your regular duties. The work involves many contacts, for example with customers and other agencies. You have flexible working hours, and it is self-evident to us that you should have balance between work and leisure. The organization's needs guide our tasks, which means you and your team may be assigned other tasks within the scope of your employment. You will belong to Personal Tax Unit 1 at the Personal Tax Department, based in Umeå. About you To do a good job and thrive at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be responsive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. Good judgment and understanding of legal security and safety are important in this work. You must also comply with our employee policy. In this job, you should: - independently plan and drive your work forward to achieve results - be good at collaboration and support others to reach common goals - have good communication with both our customers and your colleagues - be able to speak and write clearly and simply in both Swedish and English - have the ability and willingness to learn new things, be flexible and open to change - be able to analyze information flows, identify connections, and make decisions You must also have: - university education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in law or another legal science field. It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience in case handling within public administration or a bureau. It is also desirable that you have current and relevant work experience in case handling at an insurance company. Furthermore, it is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience from the Swedish Tax Agency. Good to know The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month trial period. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security vetting with background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision.
