We're now seeking a case handler for the HR Department, Personnel Responsibility Board (PAN), based in Stockholm. With us, you'll develop alongside engaged and motivating colleagues, while your work contributes to increasing safety and reducing crime in Sweden. PAN handles cases where employees of the Police Authority are subject to review under the Employment Protection Act (1982:80) and the Public Employment Act (1994:260) regarding dismissal due to personal circumstances and disciplinary responsibility. The Board also handles appealed cases concerning police students. The National Police Commissioner chairs the Board. Cases are prepared at the Board's secretariat, which consists of the Vice Chair, three rapporteurs, and administrative support. The secretariat also prepares cases concerning employees reviewed by the State Responsibility Board. Job Description The assignment as case handler at the Personnel Responsibility Board includes the following work tasks: administrative case handling responsibility for the administrative process before and after the Board's meetings, including expediting decisions handling case registration and preparatory measures, ongoing case logging and archiving responsibility for the Board's archives independently handle cases regarding disclosure of public records and conduct confidentiality reviews prepare and coordinate meetings and conferences disseminate information about the Board's operations internally and externally responsibility for the Board's web pages handle incoming and outgoing mail and manage function mailbox create conditions for operations by providing administrative support Work is primarily performed in the office. Qualifications This is an opportunity for you who have: upper secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent experience deemed equivalent by the employer work experience in the service's work areas such as registry, archives, confidentiality review, or other administrative work deemed relevant by the employer very good command of Swedish, spoken and written Swedish citizenship It is meriting if you also: have a degree in law, archival science, or another degree deemed relevant, or equivalent experience deemed equivalent have experience working within government operations deemed relevant by the employer, for example, notarial service at a court have relevant experience with confidentiality reviews Personal Qualities To succeed in the role as administrative case handler at the Police Authority, you need to be both flexible and well-organized. This means you can adapt to changed priorities and deliver high-quality work even when the pace is high, while maintaining your methodical working approach and careful attention to detail. You have the ability to work independently, take your own initiative, and drive your tasks forward without constant guidance. Furthermore, you are a cooperative team player who communicates clearly and builds good relationships to achieve the best possible results together with others.
