About the job
The position is located at the Economics Collection Section, which belongs to the Vehicle Information Department. Our section is responsible for the collection of taxes and fees for both external and internal stakeholders and is mostly located in Örebro.
We are an engaged team that works closely together on many varied tasks that must be performed with precision and within the right timeframe. It is stimulating, interesting and exciting work with opportunities for development.
The section is facing a system change which involves developing new procedures and working methods that will take place in parallel with us continuing to deliver without interruption. It is an exciting and fun challenge. In this change, we work closely with other units and sections within the department.

You will
handle cases together with colleagues with responsibility for certain queues
work with scheduled runs related to taxes and fees
reconcile payments
handle rejected payments
have customer contact
collaborate both internally and externally, primarily with other authorities
post deposits and withdrawals.
You must have
completed upper secondary education in economics or other education combined with relevant experience in economics
current experience handling customer contacts in a professional and service-oriented manner both by phone and email
current experience working in administrative systems such as UBW or similar
current experience working with large flows of cases
current work experience in the economics field such as accounting assistant or accounting case handler
good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you also have
experience contacting journalists
participated in change and development work
experience handling matters in the tax field.

The employment is permanent with placement in Örebro. Appointment by agreement. We normally apply a probationary period. The possibility of remote work exists based on the needs of the operation, up to 3 days. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security vetting with background check in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our work tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
