Gymnastik- och idrottshögskolan, GIH, is Sweden's leading knowledge center for sport, performance development, physical activity, and health. We conduct high-quality research with societal relevance, focusing on people in motion. We educate teachers in the school subject physical education and health, as well as coaches, health scientists, behavioral scientists, sport and health managers, sports scientists, and researchers. At GIH, 160 staff members and 1,400 students work and study. The school is located in central Stockholm in close proximity to Stockholm Stadium and a large sports and outdoor recreation area.
The Education and Research Administration Department, which is part of the administration, consists of 11 people. We work with admissions, graduation, study documentation (Ladok), study and career counseling, student exchange and student support, committees, and support to GIH's departments.
We are now strengthening the part of the department that provides support to the school's education and research committee.
Responsibilities

As a coordinator, you will primarily assist the Education and Research Committee in quality-assuring and developing the school's educational and course plans. The work involves providing qualified operational support to the committee, course plan subcommittee, and departments in both preparation and decision-making. Part of the work also includes providing training in this area. During 2025, GIH transitioned to using Ladok as an education database and education planning tool. As coordinator for educational and course plans, you will be an important part of the work group implementing this transition.
You will work in close collaboration with several colleagues, the course plan subcommittee, and maintain ongoing collaboration with the three departments and other functions within the school.
Depending on your qualifications and interests, other education administration tasks and other assignments within the department's area of responsibility may be relevant.
Qualifications
To be eligible for employment, you must have:
A completed academic degree that the employer considers relevant
Experience managing educational and/or course plans and knowledge of the applicable regulations
Excellent collaboration skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to express yourself well both orally and in writing in Swedish and English

Duration/Working Hours
The employment is a permanent full-time position as a coordinator, with a six-month initial probationary period. Start date as soon as possible by agreement.
