As a case handler in the Corporate Tax Department, you'll have a varied role where you work with your colleagues on annual taxation and provide customer service. Discover a multifaceted assignment! About the job You will handle and investigate cases concerning taxation of small and medium-sized corporations and trading companies. You analyze and assess various types of supporting documents and make decisions based on laws and regulations. Cases vary in both complexity and scope, meaning some involve simpler reviews while others require more in-depth investigations. As a case handler, you play an important part in helping companies understand and manage their situation and ensuring correct taxation. Through your contact with the companies, you contribute to strengthening confidence in the Swedish Tax Agency's operations. Your work tasks also include providing service and guidance to our customers on matters related to income tax returns. You plan your own workday and manage your cases both independently and in collaboration with others. You work in teams, close to your colleagues, and you give and receive support from each other. You also contribute to our efforts for continuous improvements in daily operations and choose effective solutions. You have flexible working hours, and it goes without saying that you should have balance between work and leisure. You will be part of one of our corporate tax sections at Corporate Tax Unit 3, located in Sundbyberg or Södertälje. We have two teams at the unit working with income taxation for corporations and trading companies. About you To do a good job and thrive at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be attentive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In this role, good judgment and understanding of legal security and safety are important. You must also live up to our employee policy. In this job, you should: - independently plan and drive your work forward to achieve results - be good at collaborating and supporting others to reach common goals - have good Swedish communication skills, meaning you express yourself in a simple, clear, and pedagogical way both verbally and in writing - have a good approach toward both our customers and your colleagues - have the ability and willingness to learn new things, be flexible, and open to change - have strong problem-solving skills, see patterns, and be able to make delimitations You must also have: - a completed higher education degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in economics or law, or alternatively several years of current and relevant work experience for the position - current and relevant work experience with income tax-related matters for corporations and/or trading companies It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping. It is also desirable that you have current and relevant work experience from the Swedish Tax Agency. Good to know The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision is made.
