Your responsibilities – Drive development work and support projects within energy preparedness
In your role as an officer, you will play a central role in driving development work and projects in civil defense and sector responsibility, with a particular focus on energy preparedness and energy supply within the preparedness sector. Important focus areas include strengthening the sector's capacity, adapting work to NATO cooperation, supporting military defense, and developing collaboration with both regional actors and the business community. Your task is to support work in various development projects and collaboration forums together with your colleagues. You structure, coordinate, and maintain the unit's information flows in an efficient and purposeful manner. You drive the work forward and support the organization to increase knowledge and capability.
Your work includes, among other things, developing processes and procedures to maintain an overview of ongoing work and development projects related to energy preparedness. You will collaborate with external actors as well as internally with other departments within the agency. You contribute to the unit's other projects and assignments, such as government assignments, investigations, and studies.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in an area we deem relevant for the assignment, such as risk management, crisis management, or international relations, or alternatively several years of relevant work experience that we consider equivalent. You also have current and documented experience in preparedness, total defense, civil defense, or work within the energy sector.
You communicate very well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have good knowledge of modern IT systems and programs. This is a security-classified position and Swedish citizenship is required.
It is meritorious if you have experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
work experience from public administration or critical societal activities
several years of current and documented experience in preparedness, total defense, civil defense, or the energy sector
information security work and/or security protection
relevant project management experience or coordination in matters involving multiple actors and stakeholders
experience with information management such as preparing, processing, and quality-assuring decision-making and meeting materials
As a person, you have integrity and a high security awareness. You have good verbal communication skills and express yourself clearly, engagedly, and attentively, and adapt your message to your audience and situation. Furthermore, you have good linguistic and analytical abilities and can understand, process, and produce complex information in both speech and writing with high quality.
The work requires you to work in a structured manner and take responsibility for your tasks. You have good collaboration skills and contribute to a good working climate. You have strong customer service orientation and are flexible, and can adapt your working methods to changing circumstances. The unit is part of the Energy Preparedness Department. The unit works to coordinate the energy supply sector's preparedness measures, support for military defense, coordination and development of NATO matters, and long-term capability planning and development.

Good to Know
The position is a permanent employment with a six-month introductory probation period. This position is classified as security-sensitive, which means security clearance and background checks according to the Security Protection Act will be conducted. Upon permanent employment, war placement at the agency may become relevant.
