Your responsibilities - realize and drive crisis and preparedness work
As a preparedness authority, Energimyndigheten has substantial requirements for its crisis and preparedness work, and in your role as a preparedness officer, you will realize and conduct agency-wide crisis and preparedness work together with your colleagues.
You will work broadly to advance preparedness efforts together with your colleagues in the unit. Depending on your experience, tasks may vary between continuity coordination, exercise coordination, or situational awareness work. This may involve supporting operations in continuity planning and critical dependencies, project-leading and coordinating the agency's exercise activities, or developing and managing work with situational pictures and information supply processes.
The role also involves ongoing cooperation, both internally and externally, with other authorities and relevant stakeholders to strengthen collective capability. You will have opportunities to develop in the role while influencing working methods and driving the development of the agency's preparedness work.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in a relevant area for the assignment, such as risk management, crisis management, or international relations. We see that you have an interest in preparedness issues and have gained experience in the field through, for example, studies combined with internships or work experience. You also need to feel confident providing support and advice in this area.
You have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of modern IT systems. You must have Swedish citizenship because the position is classified for security purposes.
It is meritorious if you have knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas:
societal critical operations
current work experience in an area relevant to the position
project management
knowledge and experience in energy issues
worked with security protection matters
studied courses in security and preparedness issues

The Preparedness Unit works to develop, support, manage, and monitor the agency's internal work on crisis preparedness and civil defense preparations. The unit is part of the Energy Preparedness Division.

Good to know
The position is a permanent employment with a six-month introductory probation period. This position is classified for security purposes, which means security clearance and record checks according to the provisions of the Security Protection Act will be conducted. Upon permanent employment, wartime placement at the agency may become relevant.
