Healthcare and Care Norrtälje (KSON) is now seeking a Housing Adaptation Grant Administrator. The Assignment Working as a Housing Adaptation Grant Administrator means you will primarily work with government authority functions. The work involves a complex chain of events with many components where you investigate, assess, and make decisions on grants for individual residents in Norrtälje Municipality. You and your colleague have your own cases where you evaluate certificates, assess requested building-related measures, assess costs for construction work, write request for quotes, handle quotes, write decisions, and place orders for construction work on behalf of individuals. You are also responsible for payments and invoice management. The tasks require knowledge to make technical assessments as well as evaluate medical certificates. The work involves a combination of fieldwork visiting those seeking grants and office work. Since you will have close contact with applicants and their relatives, good interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships are essential. You will also collaborate with contractors, property owners, certificate providers, and other authorities and organizations. The work also includes staying updated on applicable legislation, regulations, and court decisions that affect the handling of housing adaptation grants. Challenges and Opportunities In this role you have a unique opportunity to combine office work with going out and meeting residents. Since Norrtälje is large in area, this can involve long car trips for home visits. What You Should Bring Employees at KSON are expected to contribute to high quality and good accessibility in core operations. Requirements University degree from an occupational therapy program, physiotherapy program, or in building technology. As a person, you are quality-conscious and service-oriented. You work carefully, independently, and in an organized manner. You must be able to express yourself well in speech and writing and have the ability to adapt your communication to the needs of residents. Driver's license category B. Meritorious We would like you to have at least five years of relevant work experience. It is meritorious if you have previously worked with case management in municipal or state operations.
