Design Manager

Welcome to a dynamic and highly competent team consisting of sales staff, project managers, and design engineers. You will work closely with colleagues at other locations and in direct dialogue with our factories, primarily colleagues at the facilities in Lane-Ryr and Sollebrun, not far from Gothenburg. You will be based at our office on Ringön, which is easily accessible by public transport or car (free parking). This is an exciting role where you are involved both early in the tender phase and in ongoing projects in collaboration with customers, other design engineers, project managers, and manufacturing facilities. You will also collaborate with our partner in India on design matters. Projects vary in complexity and are predominantly multi-family residential projects. You will often need to find solutions beyond standard offerings—something that is both challenging and exciting, helping you grow in your professional role. Being involved in the entire chain is very rewarding. Participating in the development of climate-smart construction is also an exciting challenge for our department. Examples of work tasks: - Lead project management of design and construction solutions with contributing colleagues and external partners in both Sweden and abroad, with focus on quality, schedule, and cost - Design and prepare reinforcement drawings - Review construction documents prepared by external parties - Follow up on deliveries and handle customer feedback - Proposal design engineer in early phases Your profile: - You enjoy sharing ideas and support with your colleagues and contributing to a creative and developing workplace - Experience in construction project management - At least 5 years of experience as a structural engineer or design engineer in the construction industry, preferably in the area of prefabricated concrete structures - Experience with CAD design and structural calculations such as FEM design 3D - Education as a civil or technical engineer in construction - Understanding of certain contract law is a plus - You will participate in project meetings at the customer's site, so a Class B driver's license is required - You speak and write Swedish and English fluently Application We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis and look forward to your application as soon as possible.
