Job Description As a Structural Design Engineer, you will work on design and structural calculations in building projects, from system design to detailed construction drawings. You are responsible for developing and ensuring the quality of load-bearing systems, calculation models, and construction documentation in close collaboration with project managers. The work involves both independent calculation work and coordination with architects, MEP systems, and other disciplines. This role is ideal for you if you want clear technical focus and the opportunity to develop toward project management responsibilities over time. The position is based in Umeå or Mora. Qualifications For the role of Structural Design Engineer, we are looking for someone with strong technical expertise and experience working with structural calculations and construction documentation in building projects. You are thorough, analytical, and comfortable taking responsibility for your own work in close collaboration with project managers. The role requires: At least 5 years of experience as a building structural engineer Practical experience with structural calculations and dimensioning Solid knowledge of Eurocodes and BBR Experience working in Revit and/or Tekla Flexibility in Swedish, both spoken and written Class B driver's license You have a structured approach and work independently with calculations and documentation while actively contributing to coordination with architects, MEP systems, and other disciplines. This role is suitable if you want to deepen your technical expertise and eventually take greater responsibility in projects. Meritorious qualifications include: Experience with projects in healthcare, defense, or security sectors Familiarity with FEM programs, such as FEM-Design Experience coordinating and reviewing construction documentation Additional Information We welcome your application; the final application deadline is 2026-08-10.
