About the role As a Waste Collection Worker / Waste Sorter in Stockholm, you will collect, sort, and manage waste to enable recycling and safe disposal. This role is practical, social, and important for the environment — here you get to impact how materials are recycled and contribute to a cleaner city. What you'll be doing Assist with or operate waste collection vehicles where required Empty containers and secure waste for transport Manually sort materials at facilities to separate different types Operate and maintain simple machines and equipment Follow basic safety procedures and use personal protective equipment Report discrepancies and document quantities/materials Collaborate with colleagues for efficient and safe operations Work outdoors in all weather conditions and be able to handle early mornings and shift work What you bring with you Experience with similar work or familiarity with physical labor and heavy lifting Class B driver's license is a plus Knowledge of sorting regulations and basic safety procedures, or willingness to learn You are driven and take responsibility for your work You deliver high quality, every time You collaborate and lift up the people around you You are always eager to learn and help others learn on the job Salary and employment type Positions can be offered full-time, part-time, or on-demand.
