The Psychiatric Clinic at Norrland University Hospital in Umeå is the largest psychiatric clinic in Norrland with over 400 employees. We have three general psychiatric care units, forensic psychiatric services, several specialized outpatient clinics, and treatment units. The Psychiatric Clinic has relocated to a newly built facility where the care environment reflects the importance of the environment in promoting health. The care and work environment is supported by modern technology and research. We are seeking a healthcare coordinator for Freja Eating Disorders Clinic. Freja Eating Disorders Clinic is a specialized outpatient clinic for people over 18 years old with an eating disorder diagnosis. The clinic has a psychologist, nurses, doctors, dietitian, and a healthcare coordinator. We conduct assessment and evaluation, as well as eating disorder treatment, both individually and in groups. We also work with method development to meet patients according to their care needs. We place great emphasis on patients receiving good and respectful treatment. Treatment at the clinic is provided both individually and in groups. Teamwork is essential to ensure quality treatment. The target group is people between 18 and 60 years old with psychiatric issues requiring specialist psychiatry where eating disorder problems are the primary concern. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a healthcare coordinator with us, you will help care for others and help people feel better. In your work, in collaboration with other professionals, you will assess, treat, and rehabilitate patients who require specialist psychiatric expertise and resources. Your duties will include traditional coordinator work such as individual patient contacts and support in collaboration with care providers/authorities, such as work-related rehabilitation. However, you are also expected to conduct eating disorder treatment, both individually and in groups. There are opportunities for professional development in eating disorder treatment. QUALIFICATIONS You have a degree in social work and a license as a healthcare coordinator. Advantageous to have basic psychotherapy training and experience in eating disorder treatment. We are looking for someone who likes to take initiative, works in a structured manner, and enjoys driving development and change projects. The work requires that you are confident in your role, have a good ethical approach, can work independently and with a patient focus, and that you see opportunities and take initiative to develop your role at the clinic.
