The Conversation Clinics for Children and Youth in Sörmland are organized within the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic and provide assessment and treatment at the primary care level. The clinic's mission is to offer assessment and psychological treatment for children and youth (6-18 years) with mild to moderate mental health concerns. In Sörmland, we have 2 main clinics centrally located in Nyköping and Eskilstuna, where we provide care Monday-Friday. In other locations throughout Sörmland, we staff based on municipality size. The team currently consists of approximately 20 positions, distributed among coordinators, psychologists, psychotherapists, and child psychiatrists.
Your Responsibilities
We are now seeking a Healthcare and Social Services Coordinator to join our wonderful team in Eskilstuna! You will be primarily based in Eskilstuna or Strängnäs, though work may occur at both locations. We are looking for someone who wants to work with assessment and treatment for children, youth, and their caregivers. We maintain a holistic perspective of each child's situation, with each team member working both independently and collaboratively on shorter-term interventions and coordination with other actors as needed. Our goal is to offer a wide range of treatment methods and let current research guide our work; care is provided in-person, digitally, and/or in group settings. We work extensively with group treatment and would especially appreciate if you enjoy working with groups! You will plan your work independently and have the opportunity to work remotely 1 day per week.
We value a broad range of competencies, but we would particularly welcome experience in systems theory or CBT. Our mission involves a high volume of visitors, which requires strong organizational and collaboration skills both internally and externally. All staff members have a primary placement, though work may also occur at other locations.
Your Qualifications
You are a licensed Healthcare and Social Services Coordinator with previous work experience in treatment with children and youth in primary care. The position requires that you remain calm in stressful situations, work methodically, maintain a solution-focused approach, and are accustomed to taking personal responsibility. You have good communication and collaboration skills and enjoy working in a developmental manner. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
