Hällekis School is built to create favorable conditions for teaching and learning and to establish a pleasant working environment for students and staff. Job Responsibilities As an afterschool teacher, you create safe, stimulating, and learning environments in accordance with the curriculum's goals. You plan, implement, document, and evaluate activities that strengthen students' social, emotional, and academic development. You design varied, inclusive, and accessible learning environments where play, creativity, movement, and collaboration are important components. Together with the school's staff, you work toward a cohesive and structured school day where students are given favorable conditions to succeed. You also apply your expertise in the classroom by contributing to structure, work focus, participation, and positive group processes. In this way, the quality of instruction and students' ability to reach their goals are strengthened. The assignment also includes collaborating with guardians and taking responsibility for recess activities and other initiatives that promote safety, activity, and well-being. Qualifications You are a qualified afterschool teacher or a teacher specializing in earlier ages with an afterschool focus. You work on a scientific basis and with proven experience and can create meaningful teaching both in the afterschool program and in the classroom. You have good collaboration skills, work in a structured manner, and are responsive to students' needs.
