Sporthallen i Solna AB is seeking a new Hall Manager/CEO. The company owns and manages Råstaparkhallen and manages Solnahallen on behalf of Solna Municipality. The primary business consists of renting out hall time to sports clubs and schools for training and competitions in sports such as Floorball, Basketball, Handball, Volleyball, and Track & Field. Additionally, the facilities are rented out for other events such as exhibitions, concerts, and cultural events. Operations are conducted both on weekdays and weekends. The company is owned by 13 Solna sports clubs and operations are regulated in part by a cooperation agreement between the company and Solna Municipality. The staff consists of approximately 4 full-time employees and 5–6 hourly employees. We are seeking: Someone who is a team player, unpretentious, and sees solutions rather than obstacles, with the ability to inspire others. As a person, you are communicative with strong social competence and can express yourself well both verbally and in writing. In your role you will be responsible for both personnel, results, and operations in accordance with established objectives. You are expected to be proactive in business and facility matters/development by identifying new market opportunities and partnerships. You should have experience in finance and budget management. As Hall Manager/CEO for Solnahallen, you need to have good knowledge of sports clubs, sports federation league systems, and the ability to accommodate commercial events tailored to the facilities and their regular operations. You will be responsible for, among other things: · Ensuring the company's board has good insight into operations by planning and leading board meetings together with the board chair. · Ensuring the company is operated in a responsible and long-term manner in accordance with laws and regulations. · Ensuring communication with the company's customers, owners, and property owners occurs in a proper and professional manner. · Creating a safe and pleasant work environment for staff that meets regulatory requirements. · Managing ongoing operations according to the board's guidelines. A small company requires present leadership and active engagement in the company's daily operations, which includes work according to operational needs and requires maintaining a good balance between operational and strategic matters. Qualifications: Secondary education (or equivalent). Experience in leadership, where you have led and developed operations with personnel and budget responsibility. Experience in club activities and elite sports. Experience in planning and executing events (sports, music, etc.). Experience in creating customer agreements and building customer relationships with both clubs, the private sector, and municipality. We welcome education in leadership and finance. Experience working with booking systems. Initiative-taking and flexible. Strong service orientation and collaboration skills. Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
