We are now seeking a sustainability coordinator whose task is to support the operations area's management and four other units in our sustainability work within the Project Coordination unit. Regional Properties develops and manages Region Skåne's real estate with a focus on creating safe, functional, and sustainable environments for residents and employees. Right now, Region Skåne is undertaking the largest investments ever in Skåne's hospital areas. We develop complex construction projects in sensitive healthcare environments always with the highest demands for operational reliability. At the same time, we are expanding the public transportation infrastructure with new service depots for buses and trains. Operations Area (VO) Base Projects within Regional Properties is responsible for implementing our many renovation projects in our existing property portfolio throughout Skåne. We run approximately 500 projects annually. Within VO Base Projects, our employees are divided into five units: Space Planning, Project Coordination, and our three project management units: Project Management Malmö, Project Management Lund, and Project Management Kristianstad/Helsingborg. WORK TASKS In your role as sustainability coordinator, you support the operations area's management and keep VO Base Projects' environmental and sustainability work together. You work operatively with project managers, space planners, and interior designers in projects on environmental and sustainability issues, based on Region Skåne's environmental program and other requirements and guidelines. You actively contribute to Regional Properties' work on environmental and sustainability issues linked to the Property Owner Strategy, including Environmental Building Certification, reuse of furnishings and building materials, and energy efficiency. The position includes keeping VO Base Projects together and providing support during internal and external audits such as environmental and energy audits (ISO 14001/50001) and participating in Regional Properties' environmental network and other environmental forums. You are also VO Base Projects' cross-functional environmental support and environmental representative. When needed, you are expected to conduct presentations and training within your area of expertise. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you with higher education/university education with a science orientation, or alternatively other education or experience that the employer deems relevant. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, with documented experience of report writing is a requirement. You have documented professional experience working with Environmental Building Certification according to SGBC or equivalent system. You have worked with the management systems ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 or alternatively other relevant experience with similar environmental management processes. To be successful in the role, we see that you have several years of experience working operatively with environmental and sustainability issues, preferably from organizations within the real estate or construction/installation industry. Furthermore, you have good knowledge and experience in pedagogically supporting organizations to integrate environmental and sustainability issues so that these become a natural part of all employees' daily work. It is meritorious with experience in reuse of furnishings and building materials as well as work with logbooks. As a person, you are conscientious, quality-conscious, and have good collaboration and communication skills. Furthermore, you have pedagogical ability and work independently and in a structured manner to achieve set goals. You have high integrity, are proactive, responsible, and inspire and create participation in the organization. We also value your ability to develop and think creatively about our environmental and sustainability work. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. A valid B driver's license is a requirement. Salary range: 35,000 - 45,000 kr.
