We are a municipal high school located in central Piteå. We have approximately 1400 students distributed across 14 national programs, introductory programs, and adapted high school. We are looking for a dedicated teacher who can teach Swedish and English at the high school level.
Duties
You will be part of the school unit Munin where we have just over 300 students distributed across four different programs: EK, ES, FS, and RL. As a teacher of Swedish and English, you will teach at both vocational and college preparatory programs. Mentoring is part of the position. You will participate in experienced program teams and subject teams and be an important link in collaborative work around planning, instruction, and assessment. Monitoring student results and attendance is part of your role, as well as participating in development work, parent meetings, progress meetings, conferences, etc.
As a pedagogical leader in the classroom, you have an important task in creating a safe, stimulating, democratic, and accessible learning environment for all students. The work involves significant collaboration with colleagues and a willingness to drive and participate in interdisciplinary projects.
Qualifications
Certified teacher of Swedish and English at the high school level.
The position requires strong pedagogical insights and the ability to collaborate and build good relationships with students and colleagues. As a teacher, you need to feel confident and be able to be clear in your role.

100% Fixed-term employment, temporary position for fall term 2026, possible extension.
Start date as soon as possible by agreement.
Temporary employment with 35 hours scheduled work time and 10 hours flexible time per week on a full-time basis.
