Job Description
You teach Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language at the secondary level. Your program assignment will be determined based on your previous experience and where we believe you will be able to perform at your best! The position involves planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction according to curricula and student needs. Our teaching should build on students' prior experiences while you as a teacher challenge and help students progress toward their established goals. At VBU, there are subject teams where you can plan and evaluate subject instruction together with knowledgeable colleagues. As a teacher at VBU, you demonstrate leadership that challenges and creates trusting relationships with high student engagement. The position includes student mentoring.
About You
You hold a teacher degree and are certified to teach secondary school Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language. You also have strong digital competence and experience working on various digital platforms. Previous experience teaching in national secondary programs

Västerbergslagens utbildningsförbund, VBU, is a municipal federation that provides secondary education, adult education, vocational higher education, and contract training. About Employment Terms
The position is a fixed-term employment until June 18, 2027, with immediate start. We apply a probationary period of up to 6 months based on previous qualifications and require a criminal record clearance certificate upon employment.
