Job Description
You will teach Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language at the upper secondary level. Your program affiliation will be determined based on your previous experience and where we believe you will be best suited! The position involves planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction based on curriculum requirements and student needs. Our teaching approach builds on students' prior experiences while you as a teacher challenge and support students toward their established goals. At VBU, there are subject groups where you can plan and evaluate subject instruction together with knowledgeable colleagues. As a teacher at VBU, you demonstrate leadership that challenges and builds trusting relationships with high student engagement. The position includes mentoring students.
About You
You have a teaching degree and certification for upper secondary education in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language. You also have good digital competency and experience working on various digital platforms. Västerbergslagens utbildningsförbund, VBU, is a municipal federation providing upper secondary education, adult education, vocational higher education, and contract training. About Employment Terms
This is a fixed-term position through June 18, 2027, starting immediately. We use a probationary period of up to 6 months based on previous qualifications and require a criminal record certificate at hire. Placement may occur before the final application deadline; interviews are held on a rolling basis.
