We hope you will enjoy working with us! About the Job Agneberg is part of Uddevalla High School. At Agneberg we offer the Economics Program (EK), Upper Secondary Apprenticeship (GLU), Restaurant and Food Program (RL), Hotel and Tourism Program, Social Sciences Program (SA), Introduction Program (IM), and Adapted High School. In total, we have approximately 1200 students and 140 staff members. We have access to modern IT technology and a well-developed library. Agneberg has an established international network with exchanges in several other countries. We have a fantastic student wellness team, as well as study and career counselors and a school psychologist. Responsibilities You will teach students in the Social Sciences Program and other programs at the school in Swedish, history, and possibly other subjects such as rhetoric and the student thesis project. Work as a resource teacher in the study hall providing support may be part of the position. Mentoring together with a colleague is included. Work with colleagues on other shared tasks in the Social Sciences Program. You will be part of the great team in the Social Sciences Program work group and work to help students develop into good citizens, good colleagues, and good human beings for the future! What We're Looking For You have a strong interest in working with high school students. You are structured and have the ability to plan your teaching in a way that meets students' needs and interests. You are organized and have the ability to prioritize your work efficiently. You dare to think and try new approaches on your own and together with colleagues. You have the ability to be creative and responsible in your teaching as well as in your role as a teacher overall. You help students succeed in their studies! Great importance is placed on personal qualities - we are looking for a team player who wants to work together to develop the Social Sciences Program with us at Agneberg! Qualifications You are a certified teacher in Swedish, history, and possibly other subjects. You are well familiar with upper secondary school curricula and guidelines. You keep students and operations in focus. You have good computer skills and see digital technology as a natural way of working. You are interested in developing your teaching and want to work toward increased student achievement. It is a merit if you have a subject combination that fits the Social Sciences Program with additional subjects such as sociology, philosophy, or modern languages.
