Within the administration, about 150 employees work in an operation that covers around 1,200 participants in labor market programs and projects as well as around 3,000 students within the combined adult education. Läroviken is Sandviken Municipality's unit for adult education. Läroviken is responsible for Education in Swedish for immigrants, Lärvux, basic education, secondary education, vocational education as well as post-secondary and further education. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES You will teach mathematics at the secondary level. The position may involve both on-site teaching and distance teaching with supervision sessions in our educational facilities. Adult education at Läroviken has continuous student intake and we expect you to be responsive, able to adapt and individualize guidance according to students' needs and learning methods. You will work in a team with high ambitions and well-developed digital learning environments. Läroviken works with varied teaching conducted in several different ways. You need to be prepared for the possibility that operations may change and that flexibility is of great importance. QUALIFICATIONS · Licensed secondary teacher and qualified in mathematics We are looking for someone who takes initiative, drives activities forward and achieves results. You adapt easily to changed circumstances and are quick to adjust both perspective and work methods when the situation requires it. Collaboration is a natural part of the work, and in interactions with other people, communication is characterized by responsiveness and flexibility. Through clear and constructive dialogue, you contribute to resolving conflicts and building good relationships. You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and people's different conditions. You adapt your way of conveying messages based on the recipient's needs and thereby create good conditions for learning and development. Type of employment: Permanent position.
