Your Assignment In your role as a teacher, you will teach English and Spanish to our classes. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction in your subjects in accordance with the curriculum. You adapt instruction to meet students' needs, interests, and abilities. You follow up on, assess, grade, and document students' learning progress. Furthermore, you build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. As a mentor, your primary task is to motivate students in their studies and strengthen their self-confidence and social development. Together with colleagues, you lead various projects and collaborate on student learning. You are part of a team that works on systematic quality improvement, overall school development, and development of students' upper secondary programs. You meet regularly with your subject-area colleagues for planning, assessment, and grading. Your Experience For this position, you must have: teacher certification with subject qualifications in English and Spanish for upper secondary school good digital skills and experience using digital pedagogical tools strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It is an advantage if you also have: experience working as a teacher of English and Spanish at upper secondary school or equivalent level subject qualifications for upper secondary school in subjects other than English and Spanish experience in mentoring.
