Peder Skrivare Gymnasium (PS) offers several national upper secondary programs that can be combined with developmental education in sports, Young Entrepreneurship, Technology College, or Care and Health College. WORK TASKS We are seeking a substitute teacher in Swedish for our program adapted for students with significant needs related to NPF and long-term school absence. The program affiliation is the Introduction Program's individual alternative (IMA). The possibility of extension during the spring term is possible, though likely at a lower percentage. Teaching is based on relationship-building and individual strengthening work, as well as a self-reliance fostering perspective in relation to the student's developmental needs. Teaching in IMA is almost exclusively concentrated on primary school curricula through grade 9, but some individual students may have needs to be taught at upper secondary level. You clarify the objectives of teaching and communicate them in a way that is understandable to students, while making assessments of their goal achievement and assigning grades according to the curriculum. You build strong relationships with students and maintain regular contact with guardians to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Through collaboration with school leadership and colleagues, you contribute to creating a positive school environment where students thrive, develop, and reach their goals. You actively participate in various collegial contexts where you both share and develop your subject knowledge as well as your pedagogical and didactic skills. To thrive in the role, it is important that you actively participate in subject team work and appreciate collaborating with colleagues, students, and other staff at the upper secondary school. Together you work to create the best conditions for each student's success. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a certified upper secondary teacher in Swedish. Experience teaching in introduction programs is meritorious. Experience teaching Swedish in the later years of primary school is also meritorious. You use digital tools naturally in your teaching and planning and see them as an integral part of your pedagogical work. You are motivated by supporting others' learning and create good conditions for knowledge to develop. With your pedagogical skill, you explain content and context in a clear way, adapted to different individuals and perspectives. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement in the classroom. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating to achieve common goals. You thrive in teamwork and see the value in working together for students' benefit. Your commitment and ability to build good relationships contribute to a positive and respectful work environment. You inspire and capture interest in the subject through clear and engaged communication. Flexibility is one of your strengths. You adapt quickly to changed conditions and have a structured, goal-oriented way of working. At the same time, you are open to trying new methods and approaches.
