As an operator at the 135th Security Squadron, you work within the military security service with a focus on collecting security intelligence aimed at indicating and identifying suspected security threats to the Swedish Armed Forces' assets of value.

Right now, the 135th Security Squadron is recruiting:
Soldier Security Squad (GSS-K)
Soldier Reconnaissance Squad (GSS-K)
Positions: deputy group commander, dog handler, field soldier, advanced paramedic, support marksman (rifle, precision rifle)
Main work duties
Daily work is varied and includes everything from training and education to conducting operational activities. An important part is also developing operations within your future work area.
The employment begins with approximately a 6-month basic course. After successful completion, you will be placed in an appropriate position. Position-specific training begins after the common basic course.

For the Security Squad, we are looking for someone with particularly good physical ability and good soldier skills. For the Reconnaissance Squad, we are looking for someone with good social competence and considerable life experience.

Requirements
Completed and passed military basic training
At least 1 year of work experience after secondary school
Category B driving license
Swedish citizenship
Completed and passed results in accordance with FMFysS (Armed Forces Physical Training Standards)
No or mild fur allergy treatable with medication
Passed results on selection tests after combined assessment
Meritorious qualifications
Experience and training in covert collection in terrain and urban environments
Work in security unit service or reconnaissance service in the Swedish Armed Forces or organization
Completed and passed military police training
Military driving permits and further driving training civilian/military
Experience from national/international operations
First aid training CLS, ranger paramedic, advanced paramedic
Field operations training, primarily mine and explosives service and forced entry
Humint training

During the recruitment process, selection tests according to the above requirements will be conducted over four days. The test will be physically and psychologically demanding and you should not drive a car on the Sunday after the test

The Life Guards is one of the Swedish Armed Forces' largest units with roots dating back to 1521. We train tomorrow's soldiers, as well as military police and personnel to conduct international operations. We guard the royal palaces, we have security and ground combat units.
